Andrew Arneson
Proprietor
Running his own business for over 30 years has put some grey hair on Andrew's head, which you'll see clearly because he rarely wears a hat. He has figured out how to put family first through the years, prioritizing time to snowmobile, boat, and spend time Up North with his family. Andrew has an irrational aversion to the metric system, and he has been known to spread this propaganda to young children on occasion. His quick wit and easy smile make him easy to work with on most days, and he never asks anyone to do something he wouldn't do himself. Andrew serves his community as Trustee of the Sandusky United Methodist Church and Chief of the Hillpoint Fire Department.
Dan McCauley
Better known as "Buck" to people who know him, Dan has worked at the shop nearly since it began. He does most of the ag work at the shop, including engine overhauls and transmission work. Buck likes beer, and those who know him generally bring him some--even expanding his flavor pallate with different types of lagers, IPAs, ales, etc. We haven't found one that Buck doesn't like! Buck serves his community as Assistant Chief and Training Officer for the Hillpoint Fire Department, officer for Hillpoint First Responders, and President of the White Mound Snowmobile Club.Kristal Thieding
Kristal is the service writer at the shop. She answers the phones, schedules appointments, orders parts, and handles most of the invoicing. A female working in a traditionally male-dominated field is still a stretch for some of our customers, who refuse to talk "shop" with her because she has lady parts. Those who know Kristal, though, know that she can hold her own in that man's world; talking smart, drinking beer, and managing the shop are all in a days work for her. On her off time, Kristal is Chief of the Hillpoint First Responders.Dan Woolever
Dan has been at the shop for many years, handling most of the repairs on the auto and light truck side of things. He is a no-nonsense kind of guy who is efficient and accurate with diagnostics and repairs. The thing about Dan is--he really doesn't talk much, and he is happiest working under the hood of a car. Dan is an active member in the Border Riders Motorcycle Club.Kevin Huebsch
Kevin joins us with over nineteen years of experience working on big trucks. He likes the opportunity to expand beyond trucks and repair a variety of things that come to the shop. Kevin is easy to get along with, and he fits in well with the crew.
